Hi there! I missed you all last week. I was just way too busy! Hopefully things will be a tad calmer this week. Thanksgiving was very nice. It was great to spend time with family. Not a lot of family made it to dinner this year. We still had a ton of food - turkey,… Continue reading Happy Monday

This weekend I decided to take a quick trip to the mall because a store there had some things on sale that my daughter wants for Christmas. My quick trip turned into an all day thing. There was so much traffic. And so many people. It was almost as bad as Black Friday with the… Continue reading A Trip to the Mall
Check out these beautiful photos Kammie from Nut House Central! She takes such amazing photos. She even makes the frames she puts her work in. I just love them!
I have this crazy picture thing going on. And one door has closed, but God opened another. My frames are now personally refurbished. The photographs are mine. And I want nothing more than to do this full time.
I’ve done the sanding, staining, and painting. Cleaning the glass can be annoying.
Now I just need them to sell. I’m trying not to lose my hope. Every time an obstacle comes about, God is right there to show me another way. He’s providing time and time again the open doors that others keep slamming.

It is a cold and very yucky day! I woke up to a mess. Ice is covering everything! It's still freezing rain and now there's some sleet coming down. We may get a mix of snow later on. It is way too early for any of this mess. One of my favorite meals is Italian… Continue reading Italian Breaded Pork Chops
Happy Wednesday! We are under a winter storm warning until tomorrow here in Virginia. I can hardly believe it! Usually we don't start getting these warnings until January! We are supposed to be getting a little bit of snow but mostly ice. Yuck. I hope it melts fast! I don't have time for ice. I… Continue reading Mason Jar Lid Christmas Ornaments
Recently I picked up a random book that I had never heard of before. I like to do that from time to time; just grab a book and read it. Sometimes I read a book that everybody else seems to just love and I don't really like it. I'm expecting it to be good and… Continue reading An Invisible Thread Book Review
Happy Monday! It was so cold this weekend! Saturday was in the 40's but with the wind blowing it felt like it was mid 30's. Saturday night the temperatures dropped down into the lower 20's. That is crazy for us here this time of year! It's normally in the 50's or lower 60's. I found… Continue reading Weekend Happenings
I love pasta! I can't have a lot of pasta, but I love it! I also love being able to throw foods together in a matter of minutes and using very few pans. Fewer pans means fewer dishes to wash. One of my favorite pasta dishes is baked penne. I cook the penne according to… Continue reading Baked Penne
