If you’ve been reading my blog for a little while then you know how much I love quick and easy meals for dinner. One of my favorite meals that is super easy is BBQ Chicken Wraps. It’s quick in a way because you just toss everything in the slow cooker and let it sit all day.
I usually make this about once a month because the chicken will last me almost all week. That way I have BBQ chicken for lunch, too. I eat it in a bowl with a little shredded cheddar cheese sprinkled on top, or as a sandwich on a bun or roll. It’s just so good!
To make Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken, you put two chicken breasts in the slow cooker and cover them with a bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce. I use Kraft’s Hickory Smoke BBQ Sauce.
You let that cook on low all day, about 8 hours, or you can cook it on high for about 4 hours.
Once it’s done, put the chicken in the bowl and shred it. I use my Pampered Chef Salad Chopper. This thing is amazing! But, you can also use a fork, or whatever you like to use best.
After the chicken is shredded I add a few spoonfulls of the BBQ sauce that’s still in the slow cooker and stir it up. I like to put a slice of cheese cut in half on my tortilla shell and put the chicken on top of that. Wrap it up and you’re done!
