Crochet Slouch Hats

I’ve been trying to sneak in some crocheting here and there. It relaxes me so when I’m feeling overwhelmed I grab some yarn and my crochet hook and hunker down on the couch. I’ve been working on several different patterns for beanies and hats and I just can’t find my favorite. I love the faux fur pom poms that are so popular right now!

I made a couple of messy bun hats, too. I had a lady request one for her friend who is a nurse and gets cold at work. She thought she could use this type of hat and not have to mess up her hair. She can just slide it over her bun and go.

I’ll keep working until I find a pattern I like to work with. Which is your favorite?

  1. I like the pink one best. I’m thinking about knitting more of a slouch headband style that won’t crush my curly hair. Maybe just a bit thinner than the pony hats. Of course, I’d probably look like a paint brush or a Q-tip. 🙂

    1. Haha! I think the same about myself. All the pictures of the girls with the headbands look so cute and I’m sure I would look like a hot mess! 😀 That’s a great idea, though! Something to keep your ears warm. 🙂

  2. Oh my gosh I love the idea of the messy bun hat! I’ve never seen anything like that before, genius! I love the hats with the pom-pom on top too; it’s such a winter classic 😊.
