My daughter hasn’t been feeling too well the past couple of nights so we have been awake most of the night. She was diagnosed with asthma when she was younger and I thought she had grown out of it. She has not had to use her inhaler for almost two years. We stopped her medicine that she takes at night as well.
However, a few nights ago she started complaining that it was hard to breathe when she laid down at night. I’m not sure if this is coming from her allergies and asthma or if it is something else going on. I plan to make a doctor’s appointment just to see. (Pray it’s nothing!)
Since I have not had any sleep in three nights I do not have very much to write about. Well, I do, it just wouldn’t make any sense. A sleep deprived mom is not exactly someone who should be writing a blog post. 😀
While half asleep I decided to stalk Amazon so I can start adding things to my Christmas list. (Can you believe it’s only two months away?!) I came across this shirt that is just too cute!
Then I happened to remember that this exact shirt is hanging in my closet because my husband bought it for me last Christmas.
I think it’s time to clean and organize my closet for the season.
I also think it’s time to take a nap!
Have a blessed day!
Prayers for my daughter would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Poor girl, hope she feels better soon. Asthma is a horrible ailment, so hopefully, it’s only temporary.

Hope she feels better and In Shaa Allah (if God willing) everything would be okay with her. Although I know it’s very hard to keep your mind straight when the kids are sick. Don’t worry about your blog or any post. We would be still here when you come back. We all love you Michelle. Keeping you and your daughter in my thoughts and prayers. Now get some rest and please keep us posting how is she doing.

Prayers for your daughter (& you) Michele! October can be a severe time for allergies. Allergic to 48 of the 50 airborne things in our town (for which I become a weekly allergy shots pin cushion) I’ve also had trouble breathing (& swallowing) at night the last 2 weeks. But there’s also flu bugs going around – hope doc can figure it out! Prayers!!! 🙏😰🙏🤗🙏

I have asthma and I so understand how scary it can feel. I use a humidifier at night during fall and winter. Hope she feels better soon and you both get some good rest.

Thank you! No one in my family has a history of asthma so it’s new to me. Maybe I should put a humidifier in her room at night and see if that helps. Thank you!

My daughter has asthma as well. I was hoping she would grow out of it but she is 18 years old and still has it.

It can be very difficult to watch them struggle to catch their breath. 😔

Yes, it is very scary. And now that my daughter is 19 I do not have as much control over her whereabouts so I am praying she always has her inhaler with her.
